Amanecer Dorado/ Golden Dawn/ Judith Pedroza

AMANECER DORADO/ GOLDEN DAWN

A poetic imminence comes from the risk involved in transforming a violent fact into an experience of a drawing, a song or an epic. To narrate this fact that causes a deep fear from its most sensitive proceedings in a manner that articulates its existence, I watch, listen and read articulating poetic imminences that cross the individual. Among the beauty, the difference, the weakness, and its shades, lies the diverse materials I use for my practice; going between questions and alliances, between games and the knowledge of the other, to create the possibility of another kind of knowledge, no longer expected of high culture but of a contemplation between individuals and experiences joining in the present.

“The roots of poetry is the epic and the epic is the first poetic genre. In the epic, there is time: a before, during and after. All of this is poetry”[1] Artistic poetics as a vigil experience; exploring untold narratives, mixing what I live, what I think, what I observe and what I fear with crossing narratives to create a sensory experience of them.

"Art comes from a place that is not known, that happens when you do not know it” during the development of a singular idea of a cultural narrative.

AMANECER DORADO/ GOLDEN DAWN
